Relax and unwind in this hidden courtyard setting within the ancient fishing village of Appledore with its quaint cobbled, car-free streets and explore the choice of local pubs, restaurants, and galleries.

The cottage comprises of:

KITCHEN/DINER

Walk through the door from the private courtyard and you enter into the well-equipped kitchen/dining area.

LOUNGE

Up the stairs and you in the lounge area with velvet sofa and leather snuggler chair and views onto the terrace.

BEDROOM

Back into the lounge and you will find the door to the bedroom. Here you will find the use of wardrobe, chest of drawers, books, TV with DVD, and usb points for charging those devices.

BATHROOM

Directly off the bedroom is the travertine walled bathroom.

TERRACE

Out through the French doors of the lounge and you find yourself on your own raised terrace. A lovely place for relaxing.

Wi-fi, heating, bedding, bath towels, tea towels, books, DVDs, games, bodyboards, salt & pepper, vinegar, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, 1pint semi-skimmed milk.

This is a charming place - you push open the street door and find you have come into a courtyard with three or four brightly painted cottages around it. This cottage, Apple Tree Cottage, is probably the best one, in that it has its own raised decking which catches the sun well for breakfast. The sea front is only fifty yards away at the bottom of Bude Street. Everything was clean and well provided for, so I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

We loved our stay! It’s a beautiful cottage in a colourful courtyard, a one minute walk from the quay. The owners were welcoming and helpful. It was so cosy and we loved the balcony and garden area.
